The TruckTracker app is owned by Direct Livestock Pty Ltd. We are very aware of your need for security and privacy and are committed to safeguarding this information. The Privacy Act 1988 (Ct(h) (Privacy Act), and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) govern the way in which we manage your personal information and this policy sets out how we collect, use, disclose and otherwise manage personal information about you.
1. What information do we collect?
TruckTracker collects information generated by the use of the app and website. This information includes:
1. Information provided by users. This includes:(a)User profiles: We collect data when users create or update their TruckTracker accounts. This mayinclude their name, email, phone number, login name and password, address, producer business information, payment or banking information.

2. Information created during the use of our services. This includes:
(a) Location data: We collect precise or approximate location data from a user’s mobile device if enabled by the user to do so. For drivers, TruckTracker collects this data when the TruckTracker app is running in the foreground (app open and on-screen) or background (app open but not on-screen) of their mobile device. For producers and processors, TruckTracker collects this data when the TruckTracker app is running in the foreground. Drivers must enable TruckTracker to collect location data from their mobile devices in order for the app to function as it was intended. A driver who has not enabled location data collection will not be able to be tracked and that location data will not be shared with the other stakeholders involved in that movement.
(b) Transaction information: We collect transaction information related to the use of our services, including any paperwork associated with the trip, date and time the service was provided, if an incident was reported, distance travelled, and payment method.
(c) Usage data: We collect data about how users interact with our services. This includes data such as access dates and times, app features or pages viewed, app crashes and other system activity, type of browser, and third-party sites or services used before interacting with our services. In some cases, we collect this data through cookies, pixels, tags, and similar tracking technologies that create and maintain unique identifiers.
(d) Device data: We may collect data about the devices used to access our services, including the hardware models, device IP address, operating systems and versions, software, preferred languages, unique device identifiers, advertising identifiers, serial numbers, device motion data, and mobile network data.
(e) Communications data: We enable users to communicate with each other and TruckTracker through TruckTracker’s mobile app and website. We enable users to call, text, report problems or send other files to each other. TruckTracker provides some personal information of users such as a driver’s mobile phone number as part of the service. TruckTracker receives some data regarding calls, texts, or other communications, including the date and time of the communications and the content of the communications. TruckTracker may also use this data for customer support services (including to resolve disputes between users), for safety and security purposes, to improve our products and services, and for analytics.
2. How do we use this information?
The data collected by TruckTracker is used by Direct Livestock Pty Ltd for purposes including:
1. Providing services and features. TruckTracker uses the data we collect to provide, personalise, maintain and improve our products and services. This includes using the data to:
(a) Create and update users’ accounts.
(b) Verify drivers’ identity and licence number.
(c) Verify producers’ identities and Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) accounts.
(d) Enable transportation and other services.
(e) Offer, process, or facilitate payments for our services.
(f) Track and share the progress oftrips.
(g) Enable features that allow users to share information through the app such as paperwork applicable to transporting livestock such as National Venidor Declarations or Animal Health Declarations, or information regarding issues of any nature encountered on any trip.
(h) Enable features to personalise users’ TruckTracker accounts, such as creating bookmarks for favourite sites, and to enable quick access to previous destinations
6. Marketing. TruckTracker may use the data we collect to market our services to our users. This includes sending users communications about Uber services, features, promotions, studies, surveys, news, updates, and events. TruckTracker may disclose your email address or phone number to Facebook for marketing optimisation. Your information will be encrypted in order to protect you and will be handled in accordance with Facebook's Statement of Rights and Responsibilities https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms and Data Policy https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
7. Non-marketing communications. TruckTracker may use the data we collect to generate and provide users with trip reports; inform them of changes to our terms, services, or policies; or send other communications that aren’t for the purpose of marketing the services or products of TruckTracker.
8. Legal proceedings and requirements. We may disclose personal information to the police, other enforcement authorities or regulatory bodies to assist in any investigations regarding suspected unlawful activity or misconduct, whether directly or indirectly related to our activities e.g.where we have reason to suspect fraudulent activity or infringement of animal welfare legislation.

At no time will TruckTracker share the business information or data regarding the business operations of producers and processors with other producers of processors. We may share data with our affiliates, subsidiaries, and partners, for legal reasons or in connection with claims or disputes.

You can check the information we hold on record whenever you access our website. Once you have logged in, click on My Account. If this information is incorrect you can edit the information to update it.
6. How is your information secured?
We store your personal information online using Amazon Web Services Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is stored securely. Stored information about you is protected from unauthorised access through a three-tiered security system that uses SSL certificates, firewalls, permissions, secure passwords and login processes.
